Randy: A New Creation

Hello, my name is Randy and I am 57 years old from Virginia Beach, Virginia.  For a Good part of my adult life I have been involved in drugs and alcohol.  I have caused much pain to my family and friends while I was in my addiction.  It was like a tornado where everything I touched left a path of devastation and destruction.  This past spring I hit rock bottom.

Through the grace of God, and the support and love of some of my family members, the door was opened for me to come to Adult & Teen Challenge of Texas.  Having been through Teen Challenge before, I knew what was already expected of me.  I came with an open heart and the willingness to surrender everything to God and really, for the first time, allow God to come in and have His way in my life.  I have allowed God to be the leader in my life and to live for Him.  I want to soak in everything Teen Challenge has to offer.  Since being here, the old man has changed.  I am a new creation.  I am at peace for the first time in a long time.  I thank God daily for never leaving or forsaking me as He promises.
