INTAKE TIPS
1. MEDICAL – The completed Health Screening Form is required before you can enter the Adult & Teen Challenge of Texas program. An interview is required as a first step. If you are unable to pay for your medical tests, there are many avenues to have these done at little or no cost.
2. AVAILABILITY – If we are full, you may be placed on the waiting list or may be asked to enroll in a different center in our group in Texas. If you are struggling with alcohol or drug addiction, or any other life-controlling problem, we’ll help remove you from that environment for a long enough time that clean living will become a new habit. Anyone who is really serious about changing their life will need to do everything they can to stay away from alcohol and drugs, and away from the people that use them. That temptation is always going to be there, but we’ll help keep you away from, it until you build your strength to resist it.
We’ll also help you find other people who are willing to help you and support you in your decision to change your life. You’ve likely burned a lot of bridges getting to where you are today. God can restore those relationships, but it’s not going to happen overnight. We’ll help you find the courage to tell others about your decision, and that person will agree and want to help you.
